Remember Deep Thoughts by Jack Handey on Sat. Night Live? They were one of my absolute favorite things they ever did. So a while back I went through an old box of stuff I'd had shipped from WA - my old stomping grounds, and found a book of Deep Thoughts. So for your amusement and mine....
DEEP THOUGHT by Jack Handy:
"Today I accidentally stepped on a snail on the sidewalk in front of our house. And I thought, I too am like that snail. I build a defensive wall around myself, a "shell" if you will. But my shell isn't made out of a hard, protective substance. Mine is made out of tinfoil and paper bags."
