Has this Happened to You?

I just had to stop and express my joy from the new Coldplay CD, Viva la Vida. I love it when you're listening to a new CD and you're chillin', lying on the bed taking it in, then sitting at the computer writing, whatever. Maybe it's been a while since you've allowed yourself to feel much of anything but the music overwhelms you, it seeps into you. You can't help but stop and listen and then you understand the songs are speaking to you (especially LOST & Viva La Vida), like a long song sermon of love from the universe and it's really like it was written just for you, just for this moment... the music moving in sync with the waves of emotion you're experiencing. And then you're crying, then laughing... It's only happened to me a few times. But when it does, it's hard not to believe there's something more than just the physical, there's something more to us than what we see. I feel so connected and loved and loving and like everyone of us is ok or will be ok... at least eventually. You know some of us are slow learners. :)

Anyway, I do believe that things/people/whathaveyou come along at various times in our lives (a lot of times it's books for me) and I think they are messages from our higher selves/the great spaghetti monster in the sky/whathaveyou but man, when it's something as beautiful as Chris Martin's voice singing to you, articulating exactly how you're feeling at that very moment, it's like being inside Sacre Coeur, the most amazing church that sits at the highest point in Paris, or whathaveyou.

Just thought I'd mention it.
