Beyond the Fog

I'm starting to come out of my Sicky Haze. Finally. It's still mind-boggling to me the things our bodies can do. No I won't go into detail as I don't wish to disgust anybody. Or do I...? Well anyway,I was blog searching today - looking for bloggers to tell them about us and ran across an interesting one, at least for me. I'm going to try to buckle down and work on a media kit this weekend with the help of my cousin-in-law who works for a major advertising agency. I have some experience with this but it's been so long it will be good to get some advice from someone who is current with all of the ins and outs of the ad world. It's ridiculous to me.. all the lingo. It's just like any particular industry. They keep out the "laypeople" by using language that makes no sense. But once you learn it it's pretty easy. All the online specs gets pretty confusing for me but am sure I'll manage.

$43,000 - Travel to Europe - Greece (pic is of Santorini), Britain & prolly a little stop-over in Amsterdam. Let's face it to have a first class trip overseas nowadays is gonna cost an arm and a leg with the current exchange rate. I went there in 2003 on a very frugal budget and still spent $5,000. I want to travel in style for a change and see how the other half lives. Rent a villa in Greece, see all the sites in GB and party like a rockstar in Amsterdam.

$50,000 - shopping spree - clothes, jewelry and shoes, shoes, shoes!

$150,000 - WON WORLD - to counteract my indulgences, I want to start a non-profit company whose mission it is to disseminate TRUTH - information on health & the environment in particular. This is pretty much just start-up money and will require further investment. I imagine we'll need to do primary research since I think a big problem with most information we get today is that it's biased. It would be nice to have a group that's sole goal is THE TRUTH. I don't know about you but I'm tired of sifting through half-truths on the news, internet etc., and trying to base a rational opinion on that information. How nice would it be to have a source that you know is accurate and trustworthy? Or... even better... imagine a world where everything you see, read, hear is the truth.. no lies, no evasions.. nothing to hide. But we gotta start somewhere!
